This position is for a Truck Driver with a company location in Jackson, MS, and surrounding areas.

Duties include but are not limited to: Follow instructions. Drive and operate manual trucks. Complete & verify paperwork for accuracy. Locate and read location and road maps (GPS). Pre inspect trucks. Pick up & drop off load and unload goods and materials. Verify loads for accuracy & deliver them as instructed. Basic vehicle maintenance. Must comply with all safety work practices, policies and processes at all times.

Qualifications: Minimum age requirement of 24 due to insurance requirements. May be required to load and unload truck in addition to driving. Requires CDL (A, B, C, D). Type of CDL (A, B, C, D) varies with route requirements. Route may require specific endorsement (H, T, N, X) depending on the type of loads you will be hauling. Ability to drive a 10- 13- or 18- speed (Day cabs and sleeper cabs).

Pay ranges from 20%-25% of load depending on experience.
