Antech Diagnostics Software Technical Lead in Fountain Valley, California

Job Purpose/Overview

The Software Technical Lead will be responsible for guiding, coaching, and mentoring a team of Full Stack (.NET and React) Engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. This role will involve a mix of hands-on coding, architectural decision-making, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in .NET and React, and a proven track record of leading engineering teams to success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical implementation of a team of Full Stack (.NET and React) Engineers, ensuring timely delivery of projects.

  • Engage in hands-on coding, contributing to the codebase and performing code reviews.

  • • Provide input into decisions and work collaboratively with the team to implement them.

  • Ensure efficient agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Mentor team members, providing them with technical guidance and career development opportunities.

  • Bridge with stakeholders, including product managers and business analysts, to ensure software solutions meet business requirements.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and efficiency of the team and the applications, identifying areas for improvement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a lead role.

  • Strong experience in .NET and ReactJS or Angular2 is required.

  • Experience with cloud services such as Azure is a plus.

  • Proven track record in leading engineering teams to successful project delivery.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep technical expertise in .NET framework/Core and React.js.

  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Ability to guide and mentor team members in technical and soft skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for debugging and troubleshooting.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technicalstakeholders.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

  • Leadership skills, with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

  • Proficient in Typescript is a plus

Travel

Occasional travel may be required, up to 10% of the time, for training or team collaboration.We prefer a candidate local to Orange county area

Working Conditions

Complete how the job gets done and the way it operates. The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base

management, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.

The Target Pay Range for this position is $130,000 -- $162,725 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
