Volt has an opportunity for you to become part of a prestigious team of professionals. We are seeking a Digital Design Engineer to work onsite at our client’s facility in Goleta, CA . This is a contingent position expected to last 1+ years.
Selected candidate will be part of a team designing next-generation digital visible and infrared image sensors along with working with senior digital design engineers to implement digital blocks (1k 100k gates) in a variety of CMOS nodes (from 180nm to 28nm).
A successful candidate will excel at collaborating in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment working to develop cutting-edge image sensor products.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Excellent communication skills
Core expertise in writing RTL, synthesis or place and route (Cadence tools preferred)
Experience with Verilog and or SystemVerilog, writing RTL and test benches
Understanding of digital design fundamentals including synchronous digital design principles and timing closure
Experience with full digital design flow from writing RTL through synthesis, static timing analysis and place-and-route.
Experience with scripting languages including TCL
Experience with Cadence Encounter
Experience with an Analog-on-top digital design flow
Experience writing behavioral models for digital circuits and analog/mixed signal interfaces and circuits
Experience with Conformal
Experience with a Digital-on-top mixed-signal design flow
