Responsibilities

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:

Horizon Health is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our BRAND NEW unit in Grand Forks, ND. This unit will be a 24 bed inpatient unit for both adult and pediatric patients. We are also planning to expand to an additional 24 beds in 2026. Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services.

Responsibilities:

  • New hire processing and follow up, onboarding and orientation

  • Processing employee actions and submitting personnel action forms

  • Responding to employee relation questions and concerns

  • HR related communications and reporting

  • Facilitates employee training as needed

  • Provider credentialing; routinely checks for licensure renewals; monthly OIG checks

  • Administers employee leaves

  • Created, maintains, and retains employee related programs and documents; personnel files

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field required

  • 3-5 years of Healthcare Human Resources experience

  • PHR or SPHR preferred

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM SCP preferred

  • Experience with HRIS systems
