Job Description

Volt is looking for an experienced Assembly Operator to join our Sensors Team in Grass Valley, CA. Performs assembly related manufacturing functions contributing to processing and producing products.

  • Assemble parts for manufacturing

  • Perform inspection functions as required

  • Work with small parts, tools, fixtures and microscopes

  • Requires excellent manual dexterity and hand eye coordination

  • Perform routine repetitive tasks to prepare, process, assemble, manufacture and inspect components and connectors

  • Assemble connector components

  • Follows instructions and production standards

  • Perform other duties as directed

Skills and Abilities

  • Basic math skills desired

  • Proficient in MS office (Word & Excel) preferred

  • Self-Starter, Motivated, Dependable

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work repetitively with small parts requires good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

  • Ability to lift up 25 lbs.

  • Good Communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Abides by TE's expectations for ethical conduct

  • Works safely and takes responsibility for the safety of others

  • Follows instructions and production standards


  • Experience of general assembly preferred

  • HS Diploma or GED required

  • US Citizen or Perm Legal resident required.
