Product Manager-Key Accountabilities:

Product Managers in Emerging Technology will be responsible for:

1) Developing the Global Product and Services Roadmap for their technology vertical along with the support of the Directors and VP of Emerging Technology, 2) Delivering the key strategic marketing and sales tools necessary to enable commercial success aligned with the product maturity phase,

3) Directing engineering priorities with support of Director of Engineering for Emerging Technology,

4) Directing key marketing communication messaging needs to the Brand teams

5) Directing training requirements to the Sales and Tech Training teams.

Emerging Technology has Global responsibilities, so this role is also responsible for replicating regional product and services success in one region to another region of the world based on readiness and communicate priority.

What you will do:

Product Roadmap: Develop product and services strategies, roadmaps, positioning strategies and product concepts through market and customer research. Develop product specifications, product feature matrix, competitive analysis, net price forecasts. Attend tradeshows and visit customers on a regular basis to gauge what products/solutions are needed from the market and our customers. Clearly define product lifecycle and maturity phases for the rest of the organization to understand.

Product Marketing: Track product positioning as well as revenue and margin performance. Produce market segmentation analysis and market forecasts. Direct the Marketing and Brand teams with regards to their communication strategy to ensure our positioning is clearly communicated to the market. Develop plans to address competitive threats and monitory and report on the competitive atmosphere. Project manage all product launches. Take the lead on coordinating competitive benchmarking exercises to support our product development and product marketing activities.

New Product Introduction : Work closely with Engineering, Emerging Technology Commissioning/Field Engineering/Service, and dealers to ensure readiness and robustness of launch

Continuous Improvement track problems and log issues; track and maintain project schedules; assist with product board / product advisory group.

What you will need:

• BS degree, technical/engineering, or related field required. MBA preferred.

• Minimum 7 years relevant experience.
