JOB SUMMARY:

The Janitor will be responsible for the cleanliness of the facilities. This role will provide the necessary cleaning services to keep the facilities clean and organized. The objective of this role is to maintain a safe and orderly facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms following established practices and procedures.

  • Utilize power equipment for cleaning and general maintenance of facilities.

  • Remove cardboard, debris, and other materials for the distribution center and facility.

  • Gather and empty trash.

  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

  • Stock and maintain materials supply room to be readily available for use.

  • Operate all cleaning vehicles and equipment as needed.

  • Use refuse and recycling compactors and ensure facility is following company environmental and sustainability policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Six (6) or more months of experience cleaning buildings and facilities or an evaluated equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.

  • Strong integrity.

  • Ability to work independently.
