What are Aladdin and Aladdin Engineering?

Within the Aladdin Engineering group, Blackrock’s Tactical Solutions team provides enterprise-level rapid application development (RAD) / tactical solutions that adhere to industry recognised best practices. Team members work in conjunction with business units throughout the firm to develop solutions that:

• Meet business requirements that fall outside of core system functionality.

• Enable product innovation and speed-to-market.

• Prototype new/emerging business processes.

• Achieve operational efficiencies.

• Remediate risk.

The team’s technology stack focuses on C#, ASP.Net and React.

Your role and impact:

This role will have the opportunity to analyse existing live applications, produce functional and non-functional requirements before building C# and web solutions, working either independently or with a project team. There will also be the opportunity of working with business clients to design and implement specifications to ensure the successful release of completed applications.

Qualifications:

• (Outside India) B.S./ M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area.

• (India Specific) B.E./ B.TECH./ MCA or any other relevant engineering degree from a reputed university.

• 1-3 years of experience

You have:

• Experience in C# with .NET Core and ASP.Net an advantage.

• Knowledge of OOPS, Solid Design Principles and object-oriented design patterns.

• Ability to write reusable and testable code with frameworks such as XUnit/NUnit.

• Understanding of client-server architecture.

• Relational database experience with SQL Server preferred and knowledge of stored procedures.

• Some familiarity of React with the ability to analyse existing code bases.

• Experience with Agile methodology, tools, and practices.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Hands on working experience with Git.

• Proficient English, both written and spoken
