DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will review, record, and process surcharge remittance forms and documents related to applications and sales records submitted by Firearm Dealers throughout the state. You will verify information received to determine completeness, accuracy, and compliance with rules and regulations; complete all required account adjustments and review discrepancies with the firearm dealer; and post information to dealer's account after all necessary corrections are made.

Your duties include reconciling information from the Pennsylvania Instant Check System (PICS) dealer transaction logs with Surcharge Remittance Reports submitted by firearm dealers. You will ensure information is reported timely and accurately as mandated by law. You will conduct audits of dealer accounts that are not compliant as needed, and make recommendations to auditors for corrective action regarding non-compliant dealers. Additionally, in response to a dealer or sheriff inquiry regarding accounts, you will research the status of each dealer's account and provide proper information.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,003.00 (before taxes).
