Reference #: 4444244 THE POSITION The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency is seeking an organized, positive individual to perform complex clerical work requiring the application of independent judgment, and functions as a lead worker over moderately complex clerical work.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In the role of a Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of intricate clerical tasks under the guidance of the Supervisor for the Claims Processing Unit within the Victims Compensation Assistance Program. This program falls under the Office of Victims' Services and aims to provide support to victims of crime. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and prompt processing of claims submitted by these individuals, thereby assisting them in their journey towards compensation and recovery.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week. This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 60 or 65. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
