Amazon Senior Manager, Product - Tech, Ring in Hawthorne, California

Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Product Management Technical to lead the charge in building experiences and services for our best selling camera and doorbell devices. You will build and iterate on core experiences that help customers see, hear, and provide peace of mind. In this role, you'll thrive on cross-functional collaboration, technical prowess, and a keen business sense—propelling us towards seamless device experiences and raising the bar on performance.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Managers in developing and executing on a high-impact, customer-focused product strategy and vision for the next generation of Ring devices

  • Lead multiple initiatives in various stages of the product lifecycle - from ideation to development to launch to post-launch improvements

  • Develop detailed, crisp product requirements that can be used to create technical specifications, and back them up with data

  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, hardware constraints, operational support load, and competing priorities across multiple stakeholder teams

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

  • Drive product launches in collaboration with Engineering, Design, Marketing, PR, Legal, and more teams

  • Strong oral and written communication; you have the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
