Job Description

Volt is seeking mid-level IT Recruiter for our client in the Reston, VA area.

This is a remote opportunity!

In this role you will be sourcing Software engineering, technical nature type skilled candidates for cleared positions in the DC Metro area.

  • Conduct intake calls and execute on applying requirements to finding qualified candidates.

  • Developing and maintaining a ready pool of pre-screened candidates.

  • Resume Mining - delivery of resumes via mining of resume banks (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).

  • Assist and provide market intelligence to staffing/sourcing strategy through building relationships and leveraging networks.

  • Perform candidate pre-screens and develop and manage relationships with potential candidates.


  • Must have strong internet mining and lead identification of candidates

  • Experience with ATS and sourcing tools

  • Strong communication and follow up and follow through skills required.

  • Resourcefulness, high level of integrity and ethics, and sense of urgency to deliver quality services are required.

  • Must be a team player and organized

  • Experience in recruiting in the Northern Virginia and DC Metro area, and across time zones

  • Bachelors with 5+ years’ experience
