Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our clients finance team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and producing financial reports. This is a key role that directly contributes to the financial health and success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Classify and code financial transactions according to established chart of accounts.

• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

• Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.

• Process employee payroll including tax withholdings and deductions.

• Generate and analyze financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations.

• Maintain organized and complete financial records for audit purposes.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• 1+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Specialist
