The Goddard School in Highland Heights, Ohio is looking to fill multiple (3) Lead Teacher positions. The Lead Teachers' duties include:

• Instruct preschool aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for primary school;
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment;
• Advance children's intellectual and physical competence;
• Teach basic skills such as colors, shapes, numbers and letters, along with personal hygiene and social skills;
• Observe & evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health;
• Support each child's social & emotional development and provide positive guidance;
• Organize and lead activities designed to promote child development and ensure all activities and programs are responsive to children's needs;
• Implement classroom management system for behavior and procedures to maintain order in the classroom; Ensure the classroom is in good repair and clean;
• Establish positive and effective family relations;
• Post and adhere to all GSI Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Required: minimum 2 years of prior experience as an early childhood education teacher (elementary school teacher, kindergarten teacher, preschool teacher, or daycare teacher).
