The position:
Project Manager and process improvement specialist is member of the Global Engineering management team, which owns Engineering change management execution and implementation.
In this role will lead projects, actively search for continuous improvement opportunities, and maintains a healthy funnel and active pipeline of productivity savings. Owns project pipeline and report progress within Global EDM team.

What will you do:
Drives innovation
Drives and use Thermo Fisher Scientific introduced RCCM identification, problem solving, risk/failure identification, project management, and other quality and/or lean methodologies within daily operations
Independently manages a large, complex project portfolio
Ensures and encourages close collaboration with the other Thermo Fisher sites for efficient cross-site alignment
Secures alignment in company goals, and focus on open and straightforward communication loop
Stays close to Operation to understand key processes, and be ready to step up and support
Builds positive relationships with customers and suppliers, and work with customer feedback to improve the service provided
Secures alignment and PR within cross functional teams including Operation, R&D, Sales and Service, Business Units, suppliers, customers, marketing, etc.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Experience in project management within Industry area
Ability to solve issues in a team, but also independently
Excellent interpersonal skills and proficient English
Good communication skills and desire for further development
Must have the ability to acquire a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as required (up to 25% of working time)
