Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Hopewell, Virginia

Aerotek is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians in the Hopewell, VA area!

Description:

Maintenance technicians will be completing preventative maintenance as assigned on pellet and block machines for dry ice. They will need a good foundation in hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, gear boxes, etc. They will be working on hydraulic, pneumatic, and control valves. The machinery focuses on pressing different substances to create the dry ice. Someone who is mechanically inclined with general electrical knowledge transfers well. Fabrication, welding, and PLC work is a plus but not a must have.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Majority work is preventative maintenance. They are looking for individuals that are autonomous and have good initiative. On top of general maintenance on the machinery, they will need to clean up around the facility and keep the place running smoothly.

Shift : 12 hours, days or nights 6a-6p / 6p-6a

Pay : $25-32/hr.
