Do you have brake press experience in a manufacturing setting?

Olsten Staffing is assisting Schneider Electric in Hopkins, SC with finding Fabrication Technicians. These are contract to hire positions. As a Fabrication Technician you will be responsible for bending and cutting different types of metals using various fabrication tools with minimal scrap waste.

Responsibilities for Fabrication Technician:

  • Use fabrication measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, protractors, micrometers)

  • Bending and cutting metals using a brake press machine to the specifications of schematics and blueprints

  • Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period

Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge and more than 2 years experience in brake press operations

  • Ability and experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings, schematics, blue prints, material lists, and other source material.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Available shifts include:

2nd Shift: 3:15pm to 1:45am Monday - Thursday (2nd shift)

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
