Olsten Staffing is assisting Schneider Electric in Hopkins, SC with finding Wiring Technicians. These are contract to hire positions. As a Wiring Technician you will be responsible for assembling and wiring a variety of complex assembly and subassembly operations for switchboard and switchgear products

Responsibilities for Wiring Technician:

• Component wiring schemes include PLC's, Circuit Monitors, and other advanced electronic devices.

• Wiring and mechanical assembly of components

• Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period

Qualifications:

• Sound knowledge and 1year experience in assembly and wiring techniques or electrical engineering degree.

• Ability and experience reading and interpreting assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blue prints, material lists, and other source material.

• Candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and possess a good work record.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Available shifts include:

1st Shift: 5am to 3:30pm Monday - Thursday

2nd Shift: 3:15pm to 1:45am Monday - Thursday (2nd shift)

Weekend Shift: 5am to 5:30pm Friday - Sunday (Weekend Only Shift)

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
