LOCATION: Missouri City, TX
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Support the production process throughout various stages while ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded. Follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work according to assembly instructions and or drawings or verbal instructions to effectively perform assembly duties of each product within his or her department.
Check products and or component dimensions with various gauges as described in procedures or work instructions.
Visually and manually check for defects in product or workmanship.
Maintain clean and orderly work area utilizing the 5S policy in all aspects of processes, procedures and daily activities.
In all processes and functions, comply with work instructions and procedures to ensure manufacture of finish products, which conform to ISO quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
1-2 years experience in production environment preferred.
Soldering experience preferred
Experience reading wiring schematics and understanding assembly instructions
Good written and oral understanding of the English language
Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail
High level of initiative and strong work ethic
Basic Math skills (counting, adding, and subtracting)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of the job, is frequently required to sit for long periods. Occasionally is required to stand. The employee must be able to lift 10 pounds, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
