Leidos Dynetics is seeking a Electronics/Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a diverse team. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Candidate will be responsible for electro-mechanical assembly of a variety of hardware including electrical chassis, cables, and electro-mechanical assembly efforts. Candidate will work on a variety of products for military customers.

Primary Responsibilities

Candidates will be required to have knowledge of the tools used for electro-mechanical assembly (torque drivers, crimpers, strippers) and the proper techniques required to use these tools. Basic experience reading mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing documentation.

Candidate must have experience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to develop a build strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly.

Candidate must have experience working in team environment and interacting with different functions project teams and productions teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate must have a High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience.

• Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used during the cable assembly process.

• Ability to read drawings and basic knowledge of reading schematics.

• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or prior certification to IPC/WHMA-A-620.

• Experience in testing products according to test plans.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
