Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a CNC Machinist with experience in 2-4 axis lathe machines. The chosen candidate will be responsible for taking prints and job orders, ordering parts from quality, setting up the CNC machine, running the first part, and conducting the '1st part inspection' with mics and calipers. After setting up the machine and ensuring its optimal functionality, the candidate will proceed to machine the entire order. The responsibilities of this role include CNC machine set-up, operating CNC mill or CNC lathe, machining parts with tight tolerance, conducting 1st article inspections, machine change-overs, and tool changes. This position plays an essential role in meeting the demands of various industries we serve, including Power Generation, Heavy Moveable Structure, Mining, and Recycling. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering durable, reliable, and high-quality products.

This is a direct hire position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hamilton County, Indiana.

Work Environment

We have openings for both day and night shifts. Shift 1 operates from Monday to Friday, 6AM - 4:30PM, while Shift 3 operates from Sunday evening to Friday morning, 8PM - 6:30AM with a $1.25 shift differential for night shift. Overtime work of 10-12 hours a week, including one Saturdays a month, is currently required due to business demand. Our facility manufactures a variety of products including bearings, adapter sleeves, lockplates, locknuts, pillow blocks, seals, and caps. We employ over 100 employees to machine parts using CNC lathes, CNC mills, and other production machinery. We are growing and profitable, and this position is vital for our continued growth.
