Citigroup Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Specialized Analytics Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Work with large and complex data sets (both internal and external data) to evaluate, recommend, and support implementation of business strategies. Identify and compile data sets using SQL or Python to predict, improve, and measure success of key business outcomes. Analyze data structures, data definitions, and unique identifiers in data sets, including Big Data using Tableau. Merge multiple datasets using languages tools such as SQL or Python. Extract and summarize compiled data sets using SQL and Hive. Document data requirements, data collection processing, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, which includes utilizing statistical models, algorithms, and data visualization techniques. Analyze data, structured, and unstructured to identify trends and patterns to answer business questions and aid strategic decision-making. Summarize data using statistical and non-statistical measures. Identify trends in data to establish correlation and causation. Identify connections between trends in data and key business questions. Conduct predictive modeling using statistical and machine learning techniques to answer business questions and inform strategic decisions. Identify predictive techniques that can answer business questions over linear regression or logistic regression. Develop predictive models using appropriate statistical and machine learning techniques. Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms using R or Python. Summarize results of predictive model by assessing its performance measures and improvement it provides in decision-making. Document and explain results of data analysis, trend identification, and predictive modeling. Develop documents summarizing results of analysis, explaining purpose of analysis, methodology used, findings and recommendations. Connect results to key business questions and outcomes, with focus on relevance for marketing and digital product decisions. Explain to business stakeholders and senior management how analysis improves or aids decision-making. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent), in Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field and 2 years of experience as Data Analyst, Statistical Analyst, Data Scientist, Pricing Analyst, Predictive Analyst, Modeler, Lead Consultant or related position performing Big Data Analytics. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 2 years of experience must include: Python; R; SQL; Hive; Tableau; Statistical modeling: linear and logistic regression; Machine learning techniques: Support Vector Machines and Random Forrest; and Exploratory and advanced data analytics.
