Citigroup Testing Technical Lead Analyst in Irving, Texas

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Testing Technical Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Develop and execute software tests to identify software problems and their causes. Conduct business requirements walkthroughs, analyze business requirements, and provide technical solution. Design and create impact analysis, data mapping, and test strategy documents. Estimate efforts and resources required for completing business requirements. Develop, code and unit test complex automation software modules based on technical design using Abinitio products including Graphical Development Environment (GDE), Data Quality Environment (DQE), Application Configuration Environment (ACE), and Business Rule Environment (BRE). Perform system and data analysis in Mainframe, Abinitio, databases, and files to provide solutions to automate end-to-end testing. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for quicker results, streamline processes for optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes. Collaborate with programmers to design, implement, and estimate features. Conduct proof of concepts for use cases in core banking system for automation. Ensure data integrity as data flows into systems and data warehouse. Design data quality assurance process including data transformation from source system to target system. Perform revision, repair or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency and adapt to new requirements. Analyze defects submitted by testing teams across GDE for data issues and code issues to ensure quality of data flows from source system to regulatory system. Conduct automation based on testing scenarios and test cases for banking regulatory requirements using Ab Initio DQE, ACE, and BRE. Create projects and sandboxes for setting up environment for multiple stakeholders. Identify bugs in DQE and install patches to fix them. Conduct cloud migrations and integrations using Microsoft Azure. Use Oracle, DB2, SQL Server and Teradata databases to perform Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) operations and data validations across database schema. Design architecture of big data platform using Python, Spark, Scala and Hive. Maintain data pipeline. Customize and manage integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems. Manage and structure data. Build models using, artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning to analyze data and build forecasts. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Development Engineer, Associate or related position involving Quality Assurance testing for the financial services industry. 6 years of experience must include: Databases: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, and Teradata; Big data technologies: Python, Spark, Scala, and Hive; Abinitio products: Graphical Development Environment (GDE); Data Quality Environment (DQE), Application Configuration Environment (ACE), and Business Rule Environment (BRE); Control-M and Autosys; Unix Shell Scripting; MetadataHub and TDM.
