Account Payable Specialist Jacksonville, Florida 32256-Direct Hire/On-Premise

ARC Group is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client of ours that is growing in the Southside of Jacksonville, Florida. This opportunity is on-site with Mondays through Thursday 8 am to 4 pm and Fridays you get off at 2 pm. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing accounts payable processes for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely payments.

Job Description for the Account Payable Specialist:

• Input new vendors into the system and obtain necessary documentation such as W-9s and certificates of insurance.
• Obtain invoice approvals and ensure accurate coding.
• Process high volumes of invoices across various entities.
• Manage the accounts payable email inbox, addressing billing inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with property managers and vendors across divisions.
• Oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Conduct check run processes and facilitate timely payments.
• Coordinate and manage property utilities and back bills.
• Maintain legal tracking and outstanding check log reports.
• Assist in the preparation of annual 1099 forms.

Qualifications for Accounts Payable Specialist

• High School Diploma; business education background preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• Basic accounting knowledge; 2 years preferred.
• Two or more years of experience related to the real estate or construction accounting industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on interpersonal and customer relations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
