The Boeing Global Services Global Engineering & Operations Production Engineering Organization is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support MRO efforts in Jacksonville, FL .

This position is in a Manufacturing environment across multiple platforms. In the role you will Plan and develop department/organization processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing installation plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration in an Installation/Assembly environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.

  • Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.

  • Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

  • Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.

  • Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.

  • Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues.

  • Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.

  • Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.

  • Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.

  • Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

  • May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Jacksonville, FL).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Design Engineering or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

  • 3+ years of experience do you with Engineering Bills of Material (BOMs) Configuration Management.

  • 3+ years of experience following the Product Data Management (PDM) systems Configuration Management Process.

  • 3+ years of experience using any of the following systems: Enovia, REDARS, PSDS, CDS, MES, DELMIA, GOLDesp, WIRS, CAPP, IVT, NCM or OWI.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working with KC-46, KC-135, KC-10 or 767 products.

  • 3+ years of experience as a manufacturing planner or manufacturing engineer.

  • 3+ years of experience involving direct planning or installation activity associated to assembly or manufacturing.

  • Experience working within a fast-paced team environment which required strong communication skills to frequently interact with Program Leadership, internal and external customer representatives and development teams.

  • Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-Level Summary pay range: $90,100 - $121,900
