Will Perform Other Duties as Assigned

Identify correct type of PPE for each position in work cell

Identify equipment safety features

Correctly identify location of Work Instructions, Quality Check Sheets, Condition Sheets, Condition Check Sheets, Set-up Check Sheets and Quality Boundary samples. Demonstrated understanding of how to utilize these items.

Assemble parts according to design specifications

Adhere to production work instructions to maintain high standards of manufacturing operations, product quality, reliability and safety

Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Notify Team Leader of any issues causing scrap material or quality issues

Report Unsafe Acts or Conditions to supervision immediately

Support Kaizen (Continuous improvement) Activities within the manufacturing processes

Implement manufacturing methods and techniques, such as TPS, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke and support the waste reduction efforts in the manufacturing area

Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions.

Measure amounts of products, lengths of extruded articles, or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications
