The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Plant Manager (m/f/*) Kempten, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Ensuring compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations, regional compliance, and obtaining necessary permits and licenses.

• Driving sustainable improvements in EHS to achieve excellence and maintain accident-free operations.

• Leading the HOO (Highly Optimized Organization) Process to maintain a competitive organization.

• Championing customer experience by meeting delivery performance targets and achieving excellent quality.

• Driving sustainable improvements in cost performance through yield improvement and plant productivity enhancement. Additionally, partnering with the Business Supply Chain Manager to deliver the plant's part of the Value Stream Improvement Plan and embracing standardization and a robust tiered management system to exceed customer expectations.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, we are looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in a science or engineering discipline.

• Relevant working experience in Manufacturing & Supply Chain.

• Expert knowledge and experience with the most current theories and practices in one or more related professional disciplines such as production, quality, engineering, materials control, warehousing, maintenance, health/safety/environment, etc.

• Leadership and supervisory skills necessary for managing people such as knowledge of corporate/location policies and procedures, effective communications, interpersonal skills, coaching skills, change management.
