Position Title Adjunct Faculty - Developmental Reading/Writing

Salary PTEA

Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - 19.5

Summary of Position

To teach face-to-face developmental reading and writing courses on CTC central campus during the day, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Minimum Required Education

Master’s Degree from a nationally or regionally accredited university, with a minimum of 18 combined semester hours in English, Reading or Reading related courses, Writing or Writing related courses.

Minimum Required Experience

One year teaching experience in the appropriate field preferred. Post-secondary experience preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to teach developmental and basic composition courses, and collaborate with peers and administrative staff. High level of verbal and writing skills (all) and computational skills (math).
