Pearle Vision of Lakeland is seeking to add an experienced and dynamic full time Optical Lab Technician to our growing organization.  We offer a fun and laid back work environment and are looking for the right fit to join our Pearle family!     We offer very competitive compensation, schedule flexibility, bonuses, PTO, all major holidays off and paid, health and dental benefits, 401K matching and NO SUNDAYS.     Primary Duties: * Set up, operate, and tend edging equipment to cut and edge all types of lenses. * Proficient with all frame types including rimless drillmounts.   * Proficient with a lensometer. * Insertion into eye glass frames. * Download internet orders. * Dispense eyewear as needed. * Maintain 1400 SKU inventory. Requirements:    A successful candidate will have at least one year of optical experience working in an optical lab performing optical cutting or handling eyeglasses in an optical retail establishment. Must possess good communication and organizational skills; must be detail oriented and able to multi-task and manage time efficiently. Requires excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a fast paced environment, both independently or as a team.  Ability to work in the dispensary is a plus!
