*We are seeking a Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales Associate for our client - a building materials company located in New Holland, PA.  The Customer Service / Inside Sales / Counter Sales Associate will provide excellent customer service while coordinating with the drivers, sales team and warehouse personnel to meet the needs of the customers. *

The Counter Sales Rep will be responsible for the following:

• Meeting with walk-in customers to determine the proper building materials needed for projects
• Creating quotes for customers
• Taking payments
• Following up with customers 
• Showing and explaining the building materials in the showroom 
• Upselling 
• Offering excellent customer service
• Answering phones and responding to emails

The Counter Sales Rep must meet the following requirements:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of building materials preferred
• Customer Service and/or sales experience required
• Ability to type 35+ words per minute
• Customer Service / Sales oriented - must be comfortable selling and speaking with customers via the phone, email and in-person
• Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist customers with loading products into their vehicles
• Valid Driver's license
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check
