POSITION:

ENVIRONMENTAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II-III - (Equipment Technician II/III)

DIVISION/DEPARTMENT:

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Performs semi-skilled or skilled maintenance and technical work involving the operation, maintenance and/or repair of the Citys water collection, storage and distribution systems, and wastewater treatment plant equipment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

II --- High school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS three (3) years experience in an industrial maintenance field with emphasis in the installation, maintenance, and/or repair of pumping equipment including motors, pumps, and valves

OR

Successful completion of an accredited vocational program in industrial maintenance or environmental science plus one (1) year of experience in a related maintenance field

OR

High school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS four (4) years of experience in a Maintenance Operations Worker II/III job classification with the City of Lebanon or municipal government entity

III --- High School Diploma (or equivalent) PLUS four (4) years experience in an industrial maintenance field with emphasis in the installation, maintenance, and/or repair of pumping equipment including motors, pumps, and valves

OR

Successful completion of an accredited vocational program in industrial maintenance or environmental science plus two (2) years experience in a related maintenance field

OR

High school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS five (5) years of experience in an Equipment Operator II, Equipment Technician II, or Maintenance Operations Worker V job classification with the City of Lebanon or municipal government entity

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Class B - Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is preferred
