Description:

• Responsible for the removal and installation of color head and plate cylinders

• Conducts overhaul of color heads and plate cylinders

• Performs set-ups and changeovers on all printing machines when covering on production floor as required.

• Assists production personnel in obtaining maximum machine efficiency and productivity levels when covering on production floor

• Disassembles, inspects and repair all parts of color head and plate cylinder.

• Restores and keeps color heads and plate cylinder in good running condition.

• Performs modifications as required.

• Provides training on color heads, plate cylinders, other printer related issues, set ups and procedures.

• Responsible for completing required documentation, work orders, logbooks and company records.

• Responsible for roller inventory checking (checks rollers before being sent out to be recovered and checks returned rollers to ensure they are the correct diameter when they are returned).

• Ensures roller assembly is ready to be installed on the production floor.

• Communicates machine issues to Team Members and Management.

• Maintains machine tooling and spare parts cabinets in an organized and professional manner.
