Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring for several openings for Production Workers who can work Tuesday through Friday from 5:00pm to 3:30am (2nd shift) earning $ 16.50/hour !

If you have a minimum of 1 year working in a Production environment, have good hand-eye coordination, enthusiastic, and strong organizational skills we would like to speak to you about working in our lab in Lockbourne, Ohio.

Hours and Pay Rate :

2nd Shift, Tuesday to Friday, 5:00 pm 3:30 am. $16.50/hour

General Summary

Under supervision, and extensive training, you will perform a variety of tasks related to daily Lab operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform department tasks including one or more of the following:

  • Select lenses/frames for each prescription

  • Stock lens and/or frame shelves

  • Sort and deliver trays

  • Key Rx parameters into system

  • Log, ship, receive orders (frames, supplies, etc.)

  • Operate frame tracing unit

  • Quality check with filled Prescriptions

  • Packaging and/or unpacking boxes of lenses

  • Prepare lenses for special coating

Hiring Requirements:

  • Minimum one-year experience in a production/manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.

  • Ability to perform physical activities requiring bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and standing from 8 10 hours.

  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.

  • Must pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
