The current technology strategy is being re-evaluated to ensure the proper alignment with business goals. The incoming candidate will be tasked with analyzing and developing the go forward plan for the existing application architecture, infrastructure projects, and support organization.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Maintaining an IT infrastructure that is secure, reliable, supports rapid growth, and utilizes current design/technology best practices.
Creating an IT strategy that is focused on the right ratio of high service level/expandability balanced with cost support staff.
Expected outcomes in this area are measured in terms of the absence of security issues, breaches, compliance with regulations and maintenance of customer and employee privacy at the highest levels.
Provide guidance and support for the company’s application portfolio, including ERP and Formula Management systems.
Improving maintenance and development cost structures.
Developing a business intelligence approach with appropriate report writing support and management reporting tools such as dashboards, distributed daily reports, KPI’s, etc.
Active and thoughtful management of people and priorities.
Identify, lead and develop talent to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting company goals.
Consult with key decision makers to assess the current and future systems and solution
Evaluate, recommend and develop plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing
Manage all aspects of the implementation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization including software applications, servers, network, phone systems, and end-user computers/mobile devices
Ensure end-users receive exceptional service and experience reliable systems
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, holistic security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisioning
Maintain a superior level of security for the technology environment
Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, as applicable
Develop KPI metrics
Oversee delivery of services and accept deliverables
Manage ticket submission, service, resolution with all third parties
Review terms of service/statements of work and any contractual arrangements
Conduct annual diligence reviews of all third-party providers
Education and Experience
7-10 years of management experience in an IT organization
Direct experience managing ERP and Business Intelligence solutions
Demonstrated experience leading and managing IT projects
Business Acumen - Experience working with business leaders and business functions including a strong track record of success understanding business needs and delivering appropriate technology solutions
Windows and Network administration experience
Experience with managing data network and voice telecommunications systems
Understanding and experience with managing IT infrastructure including personal computing, help desk, servers, printers, and data center
Up to 20% travel
Ability to work off hours as required
Analytical with good judgment, a well-organized problem solver who can prioritize
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Customer service focused with a high degree of professionalism
Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations
Strong project management experience
