Amazon Business Development Manager - Influencers - Fixed Term Contract [12 months], Creators in Madrid, Spain

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Influencer Development Manager to join our EU Creators team, within EU Prime & Marketing organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Influencer partnerships at Amazon and work with some of the most influential content creators in the industry.

As an Influencer Development Manager for the Amazon Influencer Program, you will be a key player in expanding our footprint in ES influencer ecosystem. You'll be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and cultivating relationships with influencers across various categories, enhancing their engagement with Amazon, and ensuring a seamless experience for both influencers and our customers.

We are looking for candidates with the following three attributes:

  • You are customer obsessed: You will be obsessed with our influencer community, helping them build their businesses and supporting them use the Amazon Influencer tools to implement effective integrations (links, personalised influencer pages, shoppable content, etc.). You are deep on current influencer trends and understand how our wide product selection fit into content creators’ strategies. You will explore revenue driving opportunities with leading influencers in this segment.

  • You are strategic-minded: You will develop, execute, and refine an end to end business development management strategy in partnership with a pan-EU Creator team, local Marketing & Prime, as well as supporting PR and XCM to foster brand advocacy. Using your deep knowledge of social media and influencer marketing you will develop innovative integrations which help unlock new opportunities for Amazon.

  • You are data focused: You will have responsibility for identifying onboarding, training and optimizing a portfolio of top commercial content creators and driving the adoption of best practice. You will be responsible for defining performance KPIs and identifying core gaps in our product and marketing offering. As the owner for the performance reviews you will utilize data to drive cost effective investment strategies for influencers within our Amazon Influencer Program. You will use data to drive negotiations and unlock key high profile partnerships with top influencers.

The role will be based in ES.

Key job responsibilities

  • Proactively build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective leads, strategically prioritizing targets to strike a balance between short-term and long-term growth requirements, ensuring their fulfillment.

  • Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with Key ES Influencers and Content Creators. This is essential for driving revenue growth and inspiring Amazon customers on both the Amazon platform and social media channels.

  • Take the lead in driving the adoption of Creators tools and Shoppable content strategies, optimizing their performance. This includes enhancing earnings opportunities and boosting engagement levels for Creators.

  • Lead projects aimed at advancing tool development, best practice sharing, process refinement, and generating innovative ideas for new business development and marketing strategies.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business results, leveraging insights not only to assess performance but also to optimize strategies. Use these insights to negotiate effectively with influencers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and driving improved outcomes. Communicate findings to senior management and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders for effective implementation.

  • Collaborate closely with Amazon internal teams to provide support for strategic Amazon businesses. Foster synergy and alignment to drive mutual success

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

3+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline

Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
