Position Summary/Objective

The Pallet Sales/Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales team and responding to customer inquiries. This position is responsible for addressing and meeting customer requirements with the goal of total customer satisfaction. This includes responsibility for processing quotes and orders, expediting orders and ensuring that orders are shipped as requested by the customer. This position will be trained by the Sales Manager.

Job Duties Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting/managing PSC’s customers by providing accurate pricing quotations.

  • Managing existing accounts relationships and customer requirements.

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account status inquiries and relevant problems.

  • Provide data and insights to help the sales team.

  • Create and maintain accurate, detailed, and comprehensive reports in Excel.

  • Work independently of supervision to complete tasks on time and demonstrate proactive behavior with customers and order concerns.

  • Provide excellent service to all customers.

  • Prospect new opportunities to achieve business growth.

  • Execute outbound sales calls/ visits to prospective customers.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Associate degree or BA/BS preferred, commensurate work experience in customer service, inside sales or other administrative roles.

  • Position requires a high level of administrative, organizational and communications skills including exemplary telephone and email etiquette and ability to present self in a professional manner.

  • Accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, timeliness, reliability, patience and listening skills are crucial.

  • Sales/Account Management experience is a plus, but not required.

Travel:

  • Some travel may be required to visit customers, prospects, and attend industry events.

  • Valid driver’s license is required.
