Here, you will make an impact by:Participating in operations of 3Ms internal Strategic Toxicology Laboratory with a focus on conducting studies using alternative and traditional methods.Familiarity with consumer and/or industrial testing standards (e.g., OECD Test Guidelines).Documenting data/observations in approved record-keeping formats, preparing reports, and making oral presentations.Providing toxicology and risk assessment support to 3M consumer and/or industrial businesses.Coordinating toxicology study placement with internal 3M Strategic Toxicology Laboratory, as well as with 3rd party contract research organizations.Managing 3M databases and documentation for toxicology study archival and retrieval.Actively advising and influencing others on decisions in area(s) of specialty.Establishing extensive corporate interactions and developing a network of support (e.g., technical, manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing) to facilitate completion of programs.Collaborating with research teams and establishing extensive corporate interactions.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in a scientific field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionThree (3) years of experience in scientific technical role in a private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Masters degree in toxicology, pharmacology, biochemistry with 3 years of experience in a technical role.PhD, MD, or DVM with 1 years of experience.Board certification (DABT) is preferred but not required.Work location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to 3M Center, St. Paul, MN at least 1 day per week)Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidates relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
