• Oversees machine control systems and their use in manufacturing equipment.

• Completes estimates of requirements arising from process changes.

• Resolves manufacturing-related problems that affect daily operations.

• May develop and verify manuscripts with machine control systems to support manufacturing requirements.

• Operates with various machines and equipment, which effectively need different parameter settings and intensive production process control.

• May include automated line production control in a relatively medium complex environment.

• Operates in the set-up, maintenance, repair, or installation of dedicated machines in the production line.

• Deliver a full range of services in a defined and focused technical area of work while clear input/output relations and generic or work-specific guidelines and procedures are given or available.

• Automated line processing and controlling or operating with a broader range of production machines in production lines, are examples of this level of work.
