Job Summary for Physician Liaison:  Under general supervision of the Chief Executive Office, the Physician Liaison is responsible for promoting core and specialty services to the physician community. The Physician Liaison will work to strengthen the relationship between physicians and medical facilities and hospital by creating an open line of communication with physicians and hospital systems which will help maintain and grow patient referral base. The Physician Liaison will maintain relationship with medical centers' public, employees, physicians, patients, payers, opinion leaders, and activist groups, as well as increase awareness and market physician services we offer. The Physician Liaison will interpret current physician referral patterns and trends ensuring that resources are optimized. The Physician Liaison is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures, and regulations for the department and organization, may be responsible to assist with orientation and be able to work and relate in a professional and non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors.
