SRS Distribution Inc. Senior Manager, Learning & Leadership Development in McKinney, Texas

To that end, SRS is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning and Leadership Experience to build, enhance and provide ongoing support for all Learning and Leadership Development activities across the enterprise.

This role will report to the Head of Learning & Development.

This position is located at our beautiful, new, state of the art corporate office:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a multi-year strategy and roadmap for leadership development in partnership with key executive stakeholders in support of our academy programs.

  • Strategic thinking with a detail-oriented approach, comfortable in a decentralized, lean environment.

  • Use data driven insights to create learnings accordingly that support executives’ strategic vision.

  • Design and lead sustainable and scalable programs designed to meet current and future needs of the business.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to inspire across diverse stakeholder groups and cultures.

  • Implement learning best practices and innovative, creating learning strategies.

  • Work independently and as part of a team to analyze, design, create, and deploy appropriate learning and performance solutions for all employees.

  • Use rapid design and distribution methods (virtual, classroom, blended and multimedia) that best suit audience needs, and which tangibly and positively impact performance.

  • Ability to translate how executives play a role in strategy, operating model, and culture.

  • Create and implement a clear and viable assessment model to measure results and return on investment in the short term and long term for learning programs. Knowledge of The Kirkpatrick Model preferred.

  • Create use cases and situations for hands-on learning sessions.

  • Responsible for creating learning sustainment plans and roadmaps for owned learning programs.

  • Participates in Company-provided training.

  • Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.

  • Experience maximizing workday learning management system preferred.

  • Ability to influence across all stakeholder levels including executives and senior leaders.

  • Event planning and project management experience is preferred.

  • Develop team-building exercises and workshops.

  • Develop and curate content to be used online, in person and through virtual interactions.

  • Promote an open and supportive learning environment that fosters knowledge transfer, hands on application and the sustainability of knowledge and skills.

    Requirements

  • Operational expertise in Distribution industry and/or Building Products industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree in IO Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field a plus

  • Formal training experience in Adult Learning, Human Performance Technology, Instructional Design, Training Delivery, and Training Evaluation is highly desirable.

  • Certifications in coaching, change management, talent development, 360 feedback, or HR are a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience creating and maintaining coursework is required.

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products required.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
