Job Description

Volt is currently recruiting for an Business Development Manager for our client located in McLean, VA. This is a direct placement opportunity. If you are a tenacious individual and enjoy developing relationships with business executives, this position may be a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Identify decision makers through traditional prospecting, develop leads and set qualified strategic appointments

  • Leverage marketing qualified leads, converting them to valid opportunities

  • Collaborate with marketing for consistent communication with prospects developing strong relationships

  • Develop relationships with prospects, identifying and aligning potential business needs

  • Generate demand for the company‚Äôs products and services via cold calling, email campaigns and other marketing initiatives

  • Maintain and manage a large pipeline of leads accurately documenting details for timely follow ups

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience (prospecting, sales within IT preferred)

  • Excellent communication and sales skills

  • Ability to build professional rapport quickly by phone with all levels of IT executives

  • Track record of achieving goals
