About the role The Manager of our Engineering Lab will manage a team of technicians within a laboratory environment, that provides support for the Engineering Department of Leviton's Residential Business Unit. The main responsibility will be to manage the day to day work of the lab, supporting product functional testing, technician assistance to design engineering, lab maintenance and product assembly. Responsibilities Organize and distribute work of the technical staff to support the different needs of the engineering department. Typical work for the lab includes: Assembling prototype printed circuit boards and assembling finished good prototypes. Product functional testing including functional verification, testing in application, software regression testing, interoperability HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS (Highly Acelerated Stress Screening) Resolve priorities and maintain throughput.
