Oracle Oracle Middleware Engineer - CSS in METRO MANILA, Philippines

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and Configuration: High-availability design, configure, and maintain Oracle Fusion Middleware components, such as Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Identity Management and related technologies.Automation: Create and maintain automation scripts, like Python, Shell and tools, like Ansible, Terraform and Grafana for provisioning, monitoring, and scaling Oracle Fusion Middleware and PaaS environments.

Monitoring and Alerting: Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address issues in middleware and PaaS environments.

Security: Ensure the security of middleware and PaaS configurations, following industry best practices and Oracle's security guidelines.

Performance Optimization: Optimize middleware and PaaS components for better performance, scalability, and reliability.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve middleware and PaaS-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and system errors.Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to middleware and PaaS configurations, procedures, and best practices.Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Account Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators, and infrastructure teams, to ensure that the individual work streams are technically well managed.Leadership and Development: Actively lead and contribute to strategic programs and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 6+ years experience as an Oracle Fusion Middleware and PaaS Engineer or a similar role.- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, including Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Identity Management and PaaS services.- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Shell and Ansible.- Knowledge of HTTP and SSL and experience of troubleshooting the related issues.- Experience with Java programming and web application development.- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience with Oracle Cloud services (OCI).- Knowledge of database systems and SQL.- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.- Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification).- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Willingness to stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion Middleware, PaaS and Cloud Native trends and technologies.
