**Summary of Job Functions Under the direction of the Quality Supervisors, the Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring materials and products meet quality checks. This position will assess the condition of the product from it raw material state to being a completed product; ensuring the product is not damaged or have any defect by using testing and measuring equipment to conduct these inspections.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate production samples for conformance to specifications
• Development of lab procedures
• Assist in development of plant SOPs
• Perform routine environmental testing as scheduled
• Maintain all lab equipment and/or calibration of such equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of lab
• Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled area (where applicable)
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Ability to follow written work instructions

Education and/or Experience

• Associates or Technical Degree in a related field
• Quality experience of at least three years preferred
• Working knowledge of FaroArm preferred
