Job Title:                 Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician            Status:                     Non-Exempt                              Department:         Production Reports to:             Hardware Production Manager Hours:                     1st shift, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. + possible overtime

Job Summary:* * Codonics provides a high tech, clean manufacturing work environment producing state-of-the-art medical imaging and safety devices.  Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technicians are key contributors to the production process.  Duties include assembly, test and calibration to meet or exceed our quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:* * (subject to change)

• Electro-Mechanical assembly and testing of products for medical industry in clean environment by following assembly instructions.
• Use technical equipment such as custom gages and fixtures, hand torque tools, and precision measuring equipment
• Accurately follow all documentation associated with work assignments.
• Complete build logs and all appropriate documentation.
• Use computers for testing.
• Install and test unit firmware / software.
• Troubleshoot reoccurring problems.
• Train other associates in assembly & test processes / procedures.
• Any and other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous electro-mechanical assembly / technician experience, or a 2 year relevant technical degree or equivalent preferred.
