This role involves tracking all state monies and approving the expenditures at the Middletown Airbase by interacting with both federal and state agencies to facilitate the management of fiscal programs for facility operations. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Administrative Officer 2 is responsible for the development, coordination, and tracking of state operations and maintenance expenditures and manage financial resources.

Duties include processing, administering, and coordinating state and federally funded master cooperative agreement construction and renovation projects, purchase orders, utility bills, and contract purchases to the DMVA base facility manager for payment. Also, you coordinate with engineering and design to obtain drawings, specifications, and related data concerning projects, and coordinate requirements for material, man-hours, and equipment time. In addition, you monitor and control the flow of work to ensure the most economical and efficient use of personnel, funds, and material

Other duties include determining the purpose and method of execution for all state funds and a portion of federal funds at the airbase, determining the applicability of state and federal safety and other regulatory requirements, and recommending changes to standard operating procedures as they affect airbase employees.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: You must pass a background check clear of felonies for access to Air National Guard Computer Networks. You must possess a valid federal or state-issued photo ID and pass a favorable NCIC screening for admittance to Middletown Airbase. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Qualifications (not required): This position is located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. You must be willing and able to work in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
