Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will move pallets and containers in a warehouse environment. Work for an established and expanding Minnesota company seeking people to join our Production team. Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Forklift Operator :

• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's);

• Safety, demonstrated behaviors in support of company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries;

• Responsible for loading product operating a sit down forklift in and out of the warehouse;

• Ensure all product that is being placed in the freezer is in good shippable condition;

• Locating and picking finished goods from Freezer Warehouse;

• Assist with special projects as needed.

• Periodically locate product to the rack (includes all levels and warehouses);

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed;

• Ensure all equipment and surrounding work area is maintained;

• Communicate problems to supervisor immediately;

• Comply with all regulatory agencies;

• Performs other required tasks as assigned

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to perform basic math.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to obtain forklift certification

• Background check required
