U.S. Bank National Association is seeking a Automation Engineer (multiple openings) for its Minneapolis, Minnesota location. Job Duties: The Automation Engineer tests, creates, implements and supports robotics process and desktop automations. Essential responsibilities include: performs design, scripting, testing, implementing, maintaining and modifying automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk; creates comprehensive test plans and test cases; defines automation data needs across systems and creates a plan to coordinate this test data; creates and executes performance tests to ensure the expected automation performance levels are achieved; performs, and at times, leads clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze and resolve technical problems; writes documentation that describes automation capabilities and operating procedures; estimates and defines time tables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time; conducts analysis of organizational needs for the creation and implementation of automation solutions; participates in feasibility assessments of new automation opportunities and helps determine best approach for automation. The Automation Engineer designs, implements, executes, and maintains both manual and automated tests for API and Web; assists in various types of testing, including functional, regression, smoke, exploratory and acceptance; creates and maintains processes and best practices, standards, and upgrade documentation; create SOQL queries to query the Salesforce database; and develops and enhances Automation Framework. Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S. Requirements: Requires a Bachelor s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Applied Computer Science plus 5 years of experience as an Automation Engineer, Technical Consultant, or related. Must have 5 years of experience with: Agile Software Development; Java Script; Java; VBA; Selenium; Playwright; Cypress; IntelliJ; Eclipse; Salesforce; Rest API; Groovy; Docker; Microsoft Azure Framework; MS Office; SOQL; Python; Tomcat; Jenkins; Maven Build Tool, CI/CD Pipeline Setup using Jenkins; Report Portal; Junit; Mobile Testing; Appium; Android/iOS Physical device testing; Window and Linux Operating System; Cucumber; BDD; and Test Ng. Telecommuting available anywhere in the U.S. Company headquarters located at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Pay Range: $135,533.00 - $171,000.00.
