Job Description

Volt is now hiring with a premier distribution company in Minneapolis looking to add a Warehouse Associate to their 1st shift team. This is a temp to hire position starting at a pay rate of $14-$15/hr.


  • HS Diploma or GED.

  • Basic safety knowledge (i.e., proper lifting techniques, etc.)

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have good computer skills

  • Must be able to pass background check.

  • Experience working a warehouse is preferred

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for fulfilling 100-300 orders per day, picking and packing product, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment that enables the shipping/receiving teams to be as efficient as possible.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in staging area.

  • Provide general maintenance to keep machines running.

  • Ensure customers’ requests are fulfilled to provide best customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate with all levels of personnel within the department.

  • Work in a safe manner at all times; participate in safety training and retraining, and report work related accidents, incidents, and near miss incidents to management immediately.

  • Report equipment issues to management immediately.
