Great local company is in search of a Finance Services employee to manage projects, they are an international manufacturing software company. Position offers competitive salary and great benefits!
Manages the implementation and reporting on the appropriate Global Services metrics, track performance according to the metrics, and advise action to Services management about any situation requiring attention/escalation. Manage all activities with Global Services Finance in keeping tight control of revenue recognition, billing and AR. Coordinates budget and forecast inputs and track performance against budget. Manage the reporting process for capacity planning, resource readiness and Global Services Strategic initiatives.
Provide financial support on a daily basis to the Global Services organization. Manage the Global Services budgeting, forecasting, and planning process. Manage the integrity of services financial forecasts and results including the fixed fee revenue recognition, measurement and reporting process globally. Meet with senior regional and business unit management and provide financial guidance for business improvement and policies and procedures.
Assist with the strategic direction of both the Global Services and Finance initiatives. Assist GS Operations and Finance VP in achieving best in class operational excellence and executing key business initiatives. Support management with the program office and managing the project status reporting process, as well as managing the strategic initiative reporting. . Additionally, this role will oversee capacity planning, resource readiness, funnel management and key business metric reporting.
Oversee the administration of the Global Services financial policy and procedure processes .Ensure systems, tools and procedures are in place and rolled out with global consistency. Audit, measure and report process compliance. Coordinate the development of role based training as required. Responsible for the Services bonus plan administration.
Active participation with Global Services Operational team in support of tool roll-out and enhancement.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE : The minimum education, training and/or experience required to perform this job.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. Computer Science minor a plus. Masters degree in Business a plus.
Experience: 4+ years in practice with MBA, 8 years without MBA. Program Management experiences a plus.
Computer skills: Fluent with MS Office. Working knowledge of systems and their integration requirements.
Other knowledge or skills: General accounting, financial analysis, computer programming, project management . Ability to work with a global work force and to travel internationally.

Other responsibilities will include; Interviewing and hiring decisions and recommendations, making firing decisions, reviewing direct reports for performance and quality of work, delegation of work, train, develop and motivate direct reports, evaluate and review salaries and make promotion decisions.
